Allegro Vs Fuji single speeder
Hi all
I am looking to buy a bike with a flip / flop rear for a 5 or 6 KM commute to and from work each day.
I have just visited a few LBS's and have looked at both Fuji and Allegro single speeds.
I prefer the look of the Allegro (white frame with black components) but I don't know anything else about it?
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Which one did you prefer to ride? That is more important than looks. Appearance is a close second. :)
Compare the components of the two bikes; the wheels and the cranks. Test ride them as long as you can. It's a short commute, you don't need a bombproof bike but having to get a bike fixed or replace parts often is no fun.
What did the bike shop have to say about Allegro bikes? The only thing the internet has to say about them is they used to be made in Switzerland but no more. Probably some company like BikesDirect bought the name.
