straight caffeine for wieght loss?
im cutting some fat off for the season. i have lost about 20lbs in the past 3 months through diet and exercise only. throughout this time period i was looking at thermogenic diet pills, but because im a cheapskate, i refused to buy any. i insisted that dieting and working out is working fine. it didnt occur to me until recently that the key ingredient in all these pills was caffeine. then i remembered my college days and hearing classmates talking about this "no doz" pill whenever finals came around. i never paid much attention to it (what ever happened to coffee??). there are these caffeine pills at Mal-Wart for like $3 and the bottle has 90 pills. since the price is more than fair, could i just take these pills and loose the last of my weight a tad faster? BTW, the diet and exercise are still the best option, but a little "boost" might not hurt. any thoughts?

I use caffeine to promote weight loss, but it is more because of appetite suppression, and its stimulant effects than anything else... it keeps me from being hungry, and can give you the boost to go out and ride hard, if you aren't fed well... the key is to make sure you are burning more than you digest, and you don't need exercise or caffeine to do that... ;)

Your weight loss is already happening really well with diet and excercise.
Don't bother with pills. Just do more riding/excercise and if you must, use caffiene/coffee to boost your alertness if you don't feel like riding or excercising. Pills are for the gullible and the lazy. Its probably more of a placebo at $3 a bottle you can't really lose i geuss.

Develop good eating habits and excercise more.

Well thats just my opinion. :D
