biking up mountains
alright, here is the deal...
long ago i bought this aluminum mongoose bmx off a friend
it weights almost nothing... i can literally walk around with it above my head all day long.. thats how light it is
my friend and i have been biking up GMR(glendora mountain road) a lot lately.. he uses a mountain bike and i use my BMX... sounds weird, but i love it
can anyone advise me on the best gearing for uphill riding
the only thing i use this bike is for going up the mountain so i am curious as to what gearing would be the most energy efficient
seeing that it is a bmx and i will have only one gear, i want to go up as fast as i can with the least amount of effort
my current setup is as follows: 44 tooth chainring and 16 tooth freewheel
