View Full Version : PT SL problem
Hi there, I'm new to the forum from the U.K. but have been following the posts for sometime.
I have had 2 PT SL's since May this year, one on my turbo and the other on my TT bike for racing. After working fine, the one on my TT bike has started giving zero or low power and speed readings. It doesnt happen straight away - yesterday it was ok for 47mins then started to go wrong, but it usually happens after about 20 mins.
1. I havn't used it in the wet.
2. The wires and sensor are ok as I have swapped with my other PT.
3. The hub battery has only had about 20 hrs. use.
4 It is calibrated ok.
Can anyone think of any other reason before I have to send it back. eg can it get moisture build up even if it hasn't been used in the rain?
Thanks very much - I hope to be a regular poster now I have managed at last to register!
Have you replaced the hub batteries? The ones shipped with the hub are not guaranteed to be fresh... Mine went dead after only a month or so of use and I had to replace them.
