Hey check this out, looks somewhat legit... at first. But since it isn't actually measuring the torque, rather trying to extrapolate it I wonder if accuracy is really there... may be worse than Polar, but at least it is another alternative.

More alternatives for power measurement are always a positive to me. As long as you know the product does, its limitations, repeatability, etc....then you can make a sensible decision on whether it is right for you.
I invested in a PT pro, rather than the iBike, Polar, or this system you are referring to. YMMV :)
