I think one of the challenges with entering non-cycling TSS values into PMC is that in order for the PMC outputs to be relevant for cycling performance , the input workouts need to be relevant to cycling performance (and specifically, the target events). Physical stress from yard work, other sports, etc. certainly impact the body's ability to recover from cycling workouts, but then it almost turns the PMC into a stress tracker rather than a performance predictor. Other than just including that stuff in the 'art' of performance management, I don't know that there's a good answer there.

Yeah that makes sense, i guess that addtion of other stresses, training induced or otherwise is always gonna be a confounding factor, like you say manual labour may cause a 'stress score' but its not a tss.
the question must then be whether the deliberate addition of stresses not due to on-bike training directly will confuse the long term calculation in the PMC? i guess if it is finished long enough before the goal/peak periods it won't be havin an effect on CTL or ATL, would it be worth not starting to count CTL until after any non-bike training was discontinued to avoid confusion?
(damn i've been reading power training stuff waaaaaay too much i can even remember the abbreviations!)
