Good stuff!!
I have started training with 50% flat diet coke & 50% water in my bottles and i find it great. It sounds bad but takes great when your out on a ride

There were also reports on the BBC that it reduced types of tooth decay (but not staining) and lead to some cancers!!!

I'm still drinking the stuff (in small amounts).

Ssushi, do you live in the UK?

Baden Cooke sat outside a cafe bar in Salamanca and drank about 5 short blacks just before the last stage of the Tour of Tasmania. Admittedly he had the race won.

I'd be wanting to visit the loo every 5 minutes.:rolleyes:

I live in the North West, but frequently go to Derry and Donagal(?) with the bike.

NIce one 2LAP, not been there yet, but Kerry and West Cork are lovely. I do most of my rides in the Wicklow Mountains, some good rides up there - great scenery!!!

Good to have a northerner on the boards! I'm from Lincolnshire originally, very flat there though....

I'm originally from Manchester, so another northerner on the board! now live in south wales. would like to get over to ireland one day!

You should go Ric, cheap flights on easy jet <£30.

I did the junior tour of Ireland a few years back, that was mainly in the south. The weather was really bad (as it normaly is in Ireland!), but the racing very good!!!

I'm hoping to to do the Dublin to Galway and back (two days) in late Sept. I did the Wicklow 200 earlier this year... good craic and that....
