Tape usage

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). We also feature an great deals in our online store, 100's of articles, classifieds and product reviews.

I came across one of your 2003 threads of someone using tape and the residue troubles. Also seen heatshrink suggested.. ect.
I'm not sure if anyone is still having issues with this and wanted to suggest LLFA Tape or their other product wrrp-id. You'd have to google it.. it had some engineering name on the website.
