Downhill MTB (What Size frame for me)?
Hi I'm interested in getting a Downhill MTB and I'm not sure which size I would be. I am almost 6foot and 180 pounds. I currently ride a Road bike (Specialized Tarmac Comp 56cm Frame). I'm not sure if they size MTB differently, I presume they do.

Let me know if theres more to sizing an individual on a MTB than the information I stated.

-Thanks

Hi, I'm 6ft 2, and I find my large Bighit pretty sweet for downhilling.

It will vary between makes/models though, and as you're a bit under 6ft, you MAY find that with some brands, you might actually be better of going for a medium sized frame, as some people find them easier to steer through tricky sections - a bit more nimble than the larger sizes... that said however, you should probably try a few out, and see what feels right for you...
