Hi, wondered if you guys could help me out.

I'm looking for a helmet cam and have been reffered to ebay. This auction:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7238063559&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1

seems good, as doe the video on the 4kam.com website. Just wondered if anyone here has purchased one?

Thanks J

Yea cheers mate, that was what got me thinking. Stuff in MBUK though seems either too expensive or is only poor film quality. The 4kam camera is less than £100 and is used by a tv series so I guess it must be good. Its not gonna break the bank so I may as well try one. Roll on pay day!

520 line helmet cams are the top end models - I haven't actually seen the 4kam ones before personally - but do seem pretty good.

I run a couple of 480line models, and have been pretty happy with the footage I've recorded (considering its generally fast, bumpy downhill helmetcam filming!)

What is the ideal device to connect one of these cams too? I want to film a long XC. Thanks

What is the ideal device to connect one of these cams too? I want to film a long XC. ThanksI got the 4K Multimedia Recorder from www.4kam.com (http://www.4kam.com/) It's simple to use and records on SD cards.

Camera that I got from 4kam was good too so thanks for you help. Can't wait to get to Morzine again next year!
