Abnormal noise from RockShox SID rear shock?
I just purchased a Giant NRS-1 with the RockShox SID rear shock. It is my firt full suspension bike. I noticed that the shock makes a loud high-pitch whistling sound during the rebound phase (e.g. during bunnyhops). Is this normal? The positive and negative air chambers appear to be holding their pressures.

Thanks. -Chad-

No, it doesn't sound normal. I have a Sid on my Litespeed, it
does not make any type of noise. Check to see if it is binding
somewhere. Check your mounting hardware for correct torque
valves. After rides, I apply alittle Triflow to the shock around
the O-ring, not alot, just alittle. See if that helps. Good luck
