Simple AvP/NP Question
On yesterday's group ride, I found myself soloing, chasing one group and trying to stay ahead of another. After the ride I saw that for that 30 minute interval my avP was in my Tempo range, the NP was in my Threshold range (rolling terrain and I wasn't looking at the meter at all while I rode). While its purely psychological :D , is this a Tempo interval or a Threshold interval?

Oh, that's an easy one. If you didn't know you were riding a threshold interval, it doesn't count. Just kidding. Actually, I think this is common and it qualifies as a threshold interval. Chalk up 30mins this week.:D

The harder question would be, "My NP for the full 30mins was in tempo range but I had 3x8min segments during which NP was in threshold range. Did I do 24mins of threshold intervals?"
