And while we are on the subject of used bikes .... Anyone familiar with Fondriest bikes? Not thinking of buying one, just saw one at Bicentennial Park today which looked pretty nice and wondered about them.

I do buy Coopers Sparkling fairly regularly though, cos i like to knick the yeast in the bottom of the bottle to make my strong aussie ales.Genius!
Ever tried Velkopopovicky Kozel? The lager is nice, but the dark is fanbloodytastic. Its at Dan's for 2.40 a 500ml bottle - cheaper than VB at the pub.Indeed I have. The Czechs make a fine drop. There's another good Czech dark beer...whatsit called......Krusovice?

The All Blacks won (yahoo!)
Luke McAlister sealed it with a brilliant intercept/runaway try.
Phil Waugh got sent off in the dying moments and not before time after whacking Richie McCaw earlier in the match.
And I have to say that Lote Tuqiri is a dickhead for trying to wind the crowd up after they booed him for dumping McCaw on his head in a spear tackle.

Went for a ride this morning.
Had a tail wind the whole way down to Frankston so sat on a lazy 38 - 40kph. Turned around and then paid the gate keeper. Wasn't too bad though as I was able to sit on 28-31kph on the way back.
On the way back I got to about Mordy and started getting cramps in my thighs. Bugger, it's the first time that this has ever happened. I had one bottle filled with GU20 so was drinking plenty of electrolytes. The other thing I noticed was that my average HR was 165 instead of the usual 150.
The only thing I can think of is that I've just gotten over a cold.

Krusovice is good too. Urquell is theirs also, although its hard to find it fresh in Aus.
Yes Vette, the Czechs invented Pilsener, means 'from pilsen'. Typically a reasonably bitter lager made with the noble hops (Saaz, Tettnang, Hallertauer, Spalt).
Interesting fact, Hops - the bittering agent in beer, are the sister plant of the Ganja.

It's so annoying, I sware if collingwood were to win every game in the season bar one and Essondon loose every game bar one it'd be that one game that the two played that essondon would win and it sux!!! How can you beat us ( collingwood) one week and have a hundred points racked up against you by half time by Hawthorn the next.....so frustrateing
