Campag, can't go wrong ! :)
Yeah, I'd consider camppy, but they don't make 10s DT shifters and Shimano do.
They both make 10s bar-ends though.

Or an ill fitting seatpost...
There should be a vertical gap in the lug for the clamp to compress. Use the gap to measure wall thickness.
But you would just be measuring the thickness of the lug combined with the wall thickness.

Na, i mean use the gap to get the calipers down to the actual tube. I'm looking at my bike at the moment and it has a gap all the way to the tube, if yours doesn't, you're outta luck. Sorry.

Not enough info..OMG!!! this is the first time in my life that cosine will have a practical use :)
thanks,
both seat tubes are 57cm c-c

No its not, high school maths has no pratical use at all. Come to think of it neither does Uni maths.

And the answer is a very small number - 0.08 if I've done the maths correctly.
You might want to double check it, I was using the PCs calculator function (Mr Matagi has hidden his Hewlett Packard scientific calculator)

Actually, trigonometry is about the only stuff I've used since high school. Oh, and a bit of geometry to work out the BCD of a chainring - although that did require pulling out the HSC textbooks. (yes, I still have mine :) )

Umm no, 0.8mm. But like I said, you might want to check the calculation.
Why do you need to know this BTW?

Why do you need to know this BTW?hmm, 0.8mm seems a bit small -- doesn't sounds right
I'm looking at yet another frame which has a 72 degree seat tube, and my Cervelo has 73.5. I don't like being too far set back

Can you actually go and measure the other frame or is this an online purchase?
That would give you the definitive answer.
Mr Matagi is adamant he has the formula correct, and my calculations gave me something like 63.31 vs 63.25 for the two different sizes.
1.5 degrees is a tiny tiny amount as far as angles go, so looking at it from first principles, you wouldn't expect a big difference.
EDIT: and the angle difference is compensated for by the different top tube lenghts, so you wouldn't expect much difference between seat position on the two frames.
