Bernie is pretty amusing thouhg, but the hosts always laugh at anything, does not have to be funny, if doing standup would bring them along as a rent-a-crowd, because they laugh for the thatre and prompting of the caller... 1% of the stuff is amusing. Even my Dario schtick.yeah, they've got that fake 'FM breakfast show' laugh going on sometimes :)

Hey, do any of you Club Racer types know anyone who's say an A or B grader who's after a new bike and would be interested in taking a punt supporting a little ol' custom bike outfit?
I'm thinking I need to get someone on a Tephra and get some road exposure.
Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Should be plenty of Melbournite's ready to raise their hands for ya Thylo. Sweet machine's like that...
Of course if you get no offers from the locals I'm sure I could get you plenty of exposure on local rides in Newcastle/Central Coast/Sydney + some opens here and there :)

I reckon if you're 'lending' free stuff to people, you can get someone pretty good to ride your bikes. Isn't that how those strong dudes end up riding Giants? Or are the Giant reps?
Sorry Tiger, I just ordered that BMC. :p Cheapest brand-name import going around.

The local market is a tough crowd. For every one frame I sell here I sell 10 overseas.
Still, my heart is here so I want to see the locals tearin' shit up on their stripey bikes.
Offers are out there for anyone who would be a good ambassador and give us some good exposure. Put the word out for us fellas.

anyone who's interested, Fitzrot Cycles in Carnegie are having another 50% off 'most' frames sale. They do that a lot.
Did anyone see that thread on BF about carbon going up in price because of the airplane industry? The stats said that there were 19.8 mill bikes sold in the US in 2005!! WOW

oh yeah, and Keith Urban, the "country" singer??? Yeah, right!!
I remember seeing him pop up on all the live shows through the early 90s with a different image each time. Around 1991 he was a glam rocker, the next minute he was trying to be John Cougar, and then I hear he's a country singer?? "What the fark", I said to meself :)

nah, that is Bernie from Sunshine. Ed might know him, because he must have been around the track carnivals and road races for a while because he knows Keenan was an under 23 Australian champion in about 1995 (Ed? you would have raced that???)
Bernie O'Dea maybe? Former Bendigo boy, dunno where he's living now.
If its him, bloody good rider. He raced a most of a track season about 4-5 years ago after a long lay off, was placing in Aces almost straight away in Victoria.

No chance of a Tephra for me. :(
Average female cyclist with dodgy knee, completely uninterested in cycling competitively ..... not the best advertising billboard.
Hey Thylo, thought about recruiting some of the Beach Rd poseurs? Lots of disposable income there. (Remember our friend who imported the cheap Ti frame from Taiwan? Lots of interested comments from his Beach Rd buddies when he took it out for its maiden ride)
