he'll be at Renault. You bloody beauty. The overall racing may not improve, but there'll be more incentive to try and stay awake for the whole race, not just til the Williams explodes.

www.crash.net has details.
Renault may not be the paradise its carved out to be. would you like to go and race somwhere new after a potential double wold champ has jsut left and at the moment it looks like hte team is on a bit of a downturn?
The impending switch to Bridgestone next year is also an issue for Renault who have a very tight relationship with Michelin.
If hes going anwyhere Ferrari would be the best choice, even if he has to play no 2 next year. I predict 07 to be the biggest ferrari landslide in a while due pureley to the fact that the boys in Red will get super special treatment in boot suppliers.
At the moment though he does have a few options. Red bull racing still hasnt signed Coultard. BMW will have a seat availaible and Theissen rates Webber, Mclaren have a spare seat, Ferrari - Massa is on a 1 year contract that expires this year and cold be on the move.
Id rahter see him out of F1 land playing in Champ car or elsewhere than take a midland or Super Aguri seat.
Webber did not help his cause by saying yesterday that h would take a pay cut to stay at team willie. i think that indicates he may indeed have no where else to go.
With Williams going for the Bi lo driver pairing they have its not long before they become the new jordan.

Arrrgh! Can someone explain to me why Australian country music singers feel they have to sound like they come from the southern states of the US?
(and no, I'm not a country music fan, just saw an ad on TV for some twangy voiced, seppo imitating wannabe)
Can someone explain to me why they even bother polluting the ariwaves fullstop.;)

and seppo is not a neutral term. just because you enjoy using it doesn't mean that it's not derogatory. see any good uses for it here? http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=seppo
Hey has anyone looked at these definitions of seppo? Weird. It doesn't match my understanding of the word, but I guess it was written by a seppo that doesn't really know.
My use of "seppo" is purely neutral, cetainly no offence intended. Just becuase some online dictionary says its derogatory it doesn't mean it is.
And what's this bs about comparing qld/nsw/vic with canada/usa/mexico? I've never called a qlder a canadian.
Oh well.

Oh well.are you serious? because you don't mean for it to be derogatory then the online dictionary is wrong? wtf are you smoking? here's a couple more references to the definition. i'm going to go out on a limb and say they probably have a better understanding of the root and meaning of the word that you do. even if it was just a seppo that wrote it.

Anything could be taken the wrong way, like, seppo, wanker, dickhead etc... they can all be said in varying contexts and mean different things to different people.

Well, I've called a Queenslander a banana bender, and I have heard Victorians referred to as "Mexicans" coz the live south of the border but I've never heard the Canadian reference.
The problem with Aussie slang is that even the so-called "experts" have trouble explaining the origin of some terms, so it's very difficult to ascribe derogatory or complimentary intent to many words.

i beg to differ. you can say that you used an insulting term in an affectionate manner, i.e. look at that fast motherfvucker ride! but you can't say that the word itself changes definitions and origins.

Yep, and the UK site and the US wikkipedia site mention them as derogatory or mildly, but what would they know? and the au site and the other site don't. What's your point?
edit.. in fact these stupid sites that say it's derogatory are just definitions that any old net user can submit... yeah that makes them fact, right.

hey you piece of concrete that holds shit, what's up? hey....easy fella. i didn't mean no harm. it was just something i came up with that has no negative or positive connotation.

ummm, ok, so seppo is defined as what? slang for an American person, which we all know now. So whether or not it's derrogatory depends on how you use the word which is what you just pointed out with the motherfucker example. So we agree then?
