Worst thing about the boulevards is the crappy road surface - and bloody dark if you don't have decent lights (me!) The TT for the Herald sun Tour this year is on Kew Blvd. Perhaps they will re-surface it?
That chip-seal surface is as rough as hessian undies. Bring on the hotmix!

thanks at least one mod is at being fair.
Well Im off for a cycle this arvo, now I have some uni work done have fun!
I had an issue with Marty early in my tenure at BF and told him so. It was resolved in a very gentlemanly manner. Marty is okay in my book and a good example of a moderator doing his job right.
Cheers,
Brian

Well fellas, I'm pretty pissed. I mean, I'm used to getting kicked off websites simply because the people running it are $%@#@s, but I expected a bit more from Bikeforums!
It's nothing short of outright discrimination, and to then have Koffee reinstate the thread in 'Foo' and then tell us all what bad boys we are is fucking insulting.
Perhaps I should start a thread up called 'The African American Thread' and see if they nuke that?Thylacine, go for it! I've always been a bit of an agitator though!:D

As a Seppo from BF (Cromulent over there), I will truly miss TAT, which I've been reading off and on for months. Wildly entertaining. Sorry about all the moronocity. Why Koffee is picking on you guys is a bit beyond me. I'm not sure when making fun of Ned Flanders became anti-American, but whatever. It's not like idiots get banned/threads get moved or closed when they start bashing the French or whatnot.

nice work lads, you're all welcome here. There's even more of us over on this thread anyway it seems, more pages of utter crap to wade through every morning when you crank out the first coffee.
And Brian's from NJ so he's good in my book. :)

I love easy weeks, should be more of 'em.
Get to knock a few kays off the speedo and sit up and watch the 'scenery'. Bloody brilliant morning for a ride today, too. Cold though. The Melbournites must've left the fridge door open again :p brrrrr.
But wot's with the traffic? Thick as mud. I reckon everyone's getting into the summer groove a little early this year, making the most of the afternoon sun an warmth instead of sitting in a stinking office. Damn them. Damn them all to hell.

is it my imagination, or do only about 6 posts fit on a page?
Maybe my settings are wrong...

Damn them all to hell. There was heaps of traffic on my way in this morning too. Both car and bikes. It's strange how these things go in patterns. Last night there was barely any traffic on my way home.

Maybe cyclingforums adapts the number of posts per page depending on the size of the content. your post is #274 on page 19, which is an average of about 14 posts per page.

Reckon I could've even worked that out myself....

MartyOh okay
I sometimes forget to realise that I am not the only Brian walking about.
Yes we did Marty. It was a thread about carbon frames being produced in China or something...and it got a bit political. You issued a warning to all parties but you quoted a post of mine without saying my post wasn't at issue. We resolved it quite nicely and I have never had any trouble on BF since. I thanked you then and I will thank you now for that.
I remember you talking about riding around Princeton (Kopps Cyclery) and spending time in New Hope (my g/f loves it there). I moved to Burlington 2 months ago and it is okay. It is nice being 2 blocks from the Delaware River.
Cheers,
Brian (not Expatriate:( )

Hmmm. I certainly don't have time to read through all the posts, so I'll just ask the question:
Is anyone here aware that there is one less moderator on BF?

Prolly not polite to discuss it in an open forum, especially "the opposition" for want of a better description.

I'm assuming you mean our nomination for "moderator of the year?"
Entirely appropriate in my opinion - are there any other female mods? You'll need one for the women's forum, I guess.
