these were also flying via the same airport to let pilots rest, get fed, and refuel.

the place was alive with police and security vehicles...

there were protestors there on the airfield.

I'm surprised that the US gov't backed off due to the Irish refusal and Scottish protests, or that Tony Baby didn't force the clearances down their throats.

Many of my dad's friends were killed in wars subsequently, but we do what we have to survive. The govt says that any 'suspected flights' will be re-routed via military airfields.

yesterday and today protesters at the civilian airport broke into the airfield secure area, onto the runway, boarded the plane and started looking for weapons of mass destruction.

They say they are the 'citizens weapons inspectors' but were quickly arrested by police.

One protestor was actualy sitting in the pilot's seat reading the manual when he was arrested....

amazing...

i suspect the weapons are still on those planes...
