Do you wear one? Do you like it?
I'd be interested in seeing pictures/info on the ones you chose to wear and any reasons why you chose it.
Since I'm laid up a bit (broke clavicle) I've been thinking about this a lot. I haven't really found one that I like so I'm thinking about designing my own.
I love the under-jersey one, I think it's kevlar, but It doesn't have the shoulder straps the the Thor/Fox plastic motocross ones typically have.
thanks for any feedback.

Hi Dustin07,
I'm also laid up with a broken clavicle, and would also appreciate if anyone has any recommendation on body armour and experenice people have had using it. As I'm not convince on how much protection it really offers.
The guy in my LBS was wearing a full body suit and still broke both bones in his forearm so what kind of protection does the armour offer.

well, you gotta admit that's a pretty general statement...the forearm pads that I'm familiar with only cover the outside of the arm, and without knowing how he hit it's hard to say if the pads would have really played a roll or not.
I think wearing a cheat protector with shoulder/clavicle protection would have saved me, but it's hard to say. I blacked out and I'm not sure how i hit.
