Raleigh Golden 50 Bike

I have a Raleigh Golden 50 bike which is green, white and gold. I have been told that it was produced in 1966 for the 50th anniversary of Easter Rising. Nobody in Raleigh Ireland or Raleigh UK knows anything about this model. Can anyone tell me anything about it? Is the 1916 story true? Looking forward to hearing from you.

Can't speak for anyone else : but it wouldn't surprise me if the 1966 Raleigh version was to commemorate the 1916 Rising.
