If a thread like has already been started, then I apologize ahead of time. But I'm curious as to what music everyone would be listening to while riding. For me, I'd probably be listening to either hard rock or classic rock. As for bands, I'd probably be listening to The Rolling Stones and/or Steely Dan from my Ipod. How about you guys?

Music while riding: none. I like it quiet when I'm on the bike.

Tell that to my worn out bottom bracket! :(

none, trying to hear an approaching car over my laboured breathing...

Everyone should have music if they are dancing but it is best to ride a bike with all the senses toward the task at hand. For me it was two years ago when I was on a ride when I heard the sound of a car bearing down on the shoulder just behind me. I quickly moved to the far right, as far off the road as was possible, while two cars that had been racing turned left and sped away. The name of that tune would have to be "staying alive".

Here is my permanent playlist.
I tweak it about once a month
but it has stayed the same for
about 6 months.

i only listen to music while on the turbo, when out in the hills i prefer the sound of nature and the sound of the chain going round the cogs...kinda relaxes me and puts me to sleep.

Just say NO! IMHO, Very dangerous.

Besides, if I did listen to music, I would probably do something like Eddy Murphy did on the bus while listening to the Police in the movie 48 Hours; " ROXANNE ! ROXANNE ! PUT ON A RED LIGHT!".
