Any good recommendations for non-clip-in pedals?
I'm getting my first mtb and would like to start out with some lightweight, durable, high quality pedals that will grip well with any pair of sneakers. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

What kinda rideing are you doing. If your looking for something bling and shiny then the new Crank Brothers 5050XX look pretty good, bit beefy if you want to keep the wait down though. If your aren't quite so uptight about wieght then make sure you get the XX versions as the bearings in the standard ones are pants.
If you want something light reliable, looks ok and grips well then you can never go wrong with a set of DMR V12 Mags.
