when the pres considers himself to be above the law to this extent is the will of the people really being served?

Couldn't agree w/ you more. After agreeing w/ Senator McCain on the need to eradicate torture from VP (President) Cheneys "tool-bag", Dubya turns @ the next week and issue's a "signing-statement" indicating quite the opposite. These signing-statements HAVE TO STOP :mad: One either obeys the law or one does not obey the law. It is political trickery for Dubya to agree w/ the Senator then turn @ and ignore his previous statement. I better sign off now as my line is probably being tapped :eek:
