3 days of west Flanders gets new name: Johan Museeuw classic

The 3 days of west Flanders is called 3 days of West-Flanders - Johan Museeuw classic in 2006. Museeuw wants to make it to a big event again and gave his name for several years. The organisation doesn`t seem to bather that Museeuw have to stand trial (doping) next month.

http://www.3dwvl.be/Every great racer that had a race named after them had been in some sort of doping scandal during their careers, guilty or not. The West Flandrians will eat this up and naming it after Musseuw will only garner it more worldwide coverage. Good move on the promoters part!

We just need the Tyler Hamilton Tour of Georgia, or Montjuich being renamed the Roberto Heras Classic :D
