Cyclingpeaks Chart Question
How do you chart heart rate vs power in Cyclingpeaks? I'm curious as I see how to create periodic and distribution, but I haven't found anything to allow me to chart an X value (like power) vs a Y value (like HR). Thanks for the help!

-PeteI just did this exact chart!
Create a Custom periodic chart. In the details tab, you need to create (ie Add) 2 data series - 1 for power (either ave or normalised) and 1 for HR.
Press the button marked Add and then fill in the boxes that appear. then repet for the 2nd data series

And my own chart question... is it possible to make the TSS vs IF chart include a cumulative training stress - say, a point for each day which represents the sum of the previous 7 day's TSS.

Create a Custom periodic chart.
But that has the date on the X-axis which isn't what he wants.

It's possible to have each graphed point compile data from several rides by changing the value in the 'Days per Point' window on the details tab of the periodic chart.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a way to chart weekly and monthly TSS values on the same chart. Whatever you enter as the number of days per point affects every data series on the chart.

I tried this. Problem was, yes it effects every data series, but also if you plot 7 days per point, you get 2 points for 14 days. I want 14 points for 14 days, each of which is the sum of the preceding 7 days. I sense an excel macro coming on... groan. :)
Can you see why I'd want this kind of information? I can see it being useful in assessing chronic versus acute fatigue, training load, periodization, etc.

Absolutely. For the same reason I'd like to have a 7 day rolling average on the same chart as a 28-day rolling average. ;)

Then you need to chat to Thorman - he has a great sheet that covers a lot of stuff - including rolling 7 and 28 day TSS - it's great and I use it for almost everything outside of CP.

I have, and I agree that he's got some great stuff on there. Certainly, lots of things are possible in Excel territory if you take the extra steps to port the data over from CP.
