build north shore
i have decided to build a mtb trail with my friends.
i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what we could build to put on it e.g. north shore, drop offs etc....basicaly anything with wood or dirt....because we have a lot of that.
also if anyone has any websites that might help please post them.
any help is greatly appriciated, thanks in advance
Get a big sign and whack it into the ground stating that anyone who rides the course rides it at his/her own risk, it's for experienced (or crazy) MTBers ONLY. (Or words to that effect)
As for the course, well, anything you like! Jumps, singletrack, drop-offs, logovers, log rides. North Shore- teeter-totters are always good, plenty of dropoffs, the usual :)
Just remember to be careful making it, use proper joints and tools etc. Wouldn't be too good if you were on a 10ft ramp and it suddenly collapses.
