Can't find a Track
 I have a question for anyone to comment on. I am interested in track racing, but here in Omaha, I can't find any velodrome tracks in my area. I have spoken with a couple bike shops and the closes one is somewhere in Minnesota. How do people train, that don't have a track in there area?. I even thought about going down to one of the running tracks, for practice. Any comments!! Thank You.

Our Velodrome here in St Louis MO should be up and running with a brand new surface by the end of June. www.stlbiking.com (http://www.stlbiking.com)

Our Velodrome here in St Louis MO should be up and running with a brand new surface by the end of June. www.stlbiking.com (http://www.stlbiking.com) The one in Minnesota is north of the Twin Cities. About 400 miles for you.Maybe the one in Colorado Springs is just as close. If you travel to the one in Minnesota, you need to take classes to be able to ride there. They have a website and it's called The National Sports Center.. I think I am right about the name.
images/icons/icon14.gif You can easily train for the track if you are traaining for the sprint or kilo ........ But experiance on the track will make you faster.
