Hi! This is Kayu from Malaysia. I have been spending too much time in the MTBR and just recetly noticed this site through some search machines. A logistic service provider with only 14 months MTB experience, I have changed 3 MTB within 14 months and now I am riding a build up Scott Scale 40. My 1st bike was Scott Pro Racing and then NRS Team prior to this.

I'm a 37 yr old Triathlete from Rio - Brazil. I'm married but still childless. I'm preparing myself for an Ironman in may. Later I plan to do a 2 x 80k MTB race, & also a 800k relay at the end of the year.

Welcome back to cycling forums, I'm just to embark a coast to coast tour of the US on the 6th of Feb 05. I'm planning to post my travellogs for anyone interested in following along. Whch by the way, is what most people say when you tell them what you are doing. It must be genetic because "most people" don't seem to have that sense of adventure in their blood. I just bought a GPS online and awaiting a trailer which should be in this week some time.

I'll try to keep everyone here posted on my progress. Once again nice to see more and more people getting back on their bicycles.

Hey everybody, I'm a Canadian living in China now. I've just bought my second and third bikes here. I used to do a few drops and dirt jumps back in Canada with my friend, but finally just got my own bikes. Trying to get my bikes out on all the little hills out in China, and ultimately, before I leave, ride Tibet.

Hi, all. I'm from St. Paul, Minnesota. I'm a grad student studying foodborne disease epidemiology (not as esoteric as it sounds).

I'd not been on a bike in years until my boyfriend got me on a rental tandem and I loved it. Now we're married and the proud parents of a Cannondale road tandem - and we're having the best time!

I also spend a lot of time obsessing over the Cubs, learning to love Cricket, watching British mysteries, listening to great music (check out our great new local station 89.3 the Current (http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/services/thecurrent/)), and having fun with Bayesian statistics.

I'm looking forward to plugging in to the cycling community...

I lived in the Springs nice place.When you talk of tears in the eyes its better to get them from a fast bike then a fast woman LOL even J-b Liquid weld doesnt work on a broken heart anymore LOL.Where i live now its been 25 to 30 below Brrrrrrrrr.Good thing with got a few strip joints here to keep us old guys warm.

Cosmpolite sorry about that was just kidding.I have ridden to but not in a long time.they ride here alot.I was ski patrol for many years the riden keeps you in shape but now i ride a harley davidson chopper i enjoy it very much .You are not far from where i live i live in the u.p.I lived in M.P.L.S for many years also eagan and pretty much all over the twin cities.miss it some times would be nice to get a hamburger after 10:00 at nite they roll the side walks up then around here.

G'day therandomster, mate, more information required about bottom bracket, what sort, fixed cup of adjusting cup, who's make, try a gas axe it wiil fix anything believe me. That's the last resort of course?
