Where are you from, what do you do?
Hi!!!! My name is Lisa and I'm from Atlanta, Ga. I'm a research nurse and work with HIV+ patients. I've been riding bicycles for over 20 years now. Bicycling is my true true passion in life!!!!!!!I've had an over-use bicycling injury going on 3 years now,and havent gotten it resolved yet. I finally have found a PT here in Atlanta who I think figured out the bio-machanical cause of my injury. Later today I want to post a description of the injury and get your feedback.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where are you from, what do you do?
I live in St. Petersburg, FL, having moved here 21 years ago from West "by God" Virginia. My wife and I recently bought a second house in Mount Dora, FL. What an awesome place to ride! I was curious if anybody out there has ever been to this town in Central Florida, or ever ridden anywhere near there? I am still learning the area, but did get a couple of maps from a local club with some good rides around that area. If anybody has any suggestions for places to ride around Mt. Dora, I would be happy to hear what they are.

Hey cyclists, I'm in Victoria, BC where I work as a Research Analyst for a provincial ministry here in the capital (not far from Seattle in the PNW). I ride all year, mostly on the 16 miles to work and back, but also on an airport ride where I circle the runways and come on home. Favorite ride is down the paved portion of the bike path where which takes me through farmlands, over a lake and then over a saltwater gorge, then over a blue bridge into town. I love spring and fall riding the best, especially the crackling sound of speed over maple leaves and the first best light on my morning ride in the spring. Been losing ground lately, slowing down probably because of the heavy winds of fall.

I was born and raised in Washington, D.C. I live in Arlington Virginia and I'm a structural engineer (no bridges, no skyscrapers).
I'm a newbie biker (Marin hybrid, rail trails etc) and my wife and I also hike/city walk. Biking has taken away from my disc golfing though..........

When you go to a Bike Shop, make sure that they carry top end bikes and ask them if they fit their customers to their new bikes. So, before buying they will normally ask you what type of biking you will do etc. A good bike shop will either measure you of fit you properly to your new bike if not ... go somewhere else ... Good luck

I am brand new and live North of Boston. I am not an avid cyclist - I do love to bicycle but don't make enough time for it. My reason for being on this forum is that I have become active in our rails to trails committee in town and we are desperately looking for information on how to get this passed in our time. As is always the case it seems with anything these days, there are plenty of trail abutters who don't want this trail. I would love to hear from anyone who has gone through this process and how they did it. Advice tips and hints welcome!!!

Greetings all.
I make my home is Silicon Valley, California
I'm a returning/converting cyclist. Former MTB; now a roadie. I'm working up into the steeper hills here in the Bay Area, and surely I'm beginning to feel a bit like a good billy goat should. :)
My professional life is that of a technology project manager, a job that I enjoy quite well. I'm happily married and a father to a 2 year old boy.
Advice anyone? My next gear interest will be pedals and shoes. I would most appreciate any recommendations.
Cheers!
John

Hi! I'm Joyce, I am a commuter cyclist, but I'm also interested in doing some velodrome and road cycling if I can make time for it. I took a velodrome taster session in Manchester last night, what a rush, I'm hoping to go again soon. Anyway, living in the UK right now as a student, and I'm originally from BC, Canada. Glad there are some friendly forums out there to surf! :)

hi everybody my name is hermo and i'm from redlands, california. i am avid cyclist and an inventor. (ever heard of the 4 day deodorant?) one of my latest invention is a an underarm deodorant that prevents body odor up to 72 hours plus. in essence, you only have to apply it once every 4th day. I 'm so excited with this invention of mind and i'd like to share it with my fellow cyclist all over the world. if you and any buddies of ours need some free samples of my 4 day deodorant, email me at info@coolprotectant.com and i'll glady share some with you, all i ask is you share with me the experience of using what i have invented by your comments in the email. This is US patent pending so you guys are the first to get the benefit of it. every inventor enjoys some appreciation.

hermo:)
