Buy First Road Bike in Phoenix
I recently moved to Phoenix for work and should be here for 8 months.
I left Colorado, where I grew up, and last summer started MTN biking.
I would also ride on the many wonderful bike trails around town during
the off months.

Arriving in Phoenix with it's many, many, many miles of paved roadways
I have decided to but a road bike. To be honest I know nothing about
the subject. I have been reading many of the articles in Google Groups
to familiarize my self, I have been to a few bike shops, and have
researched a bit on the Internet. I am obviously a novice road biker
but have put many miles on a MTN bike.

Does anyone have a good recommendation of a place in the Phoenix area
to go and get a feel for what different varieties of bikes are
offered? I am looking for places that can give me advise that won't be
annoyed with my questioning. I feel that if I am ready to drop 1-2
thousand on a bike I should be at a place that is willing to go a
little out of their way to makes sure I get what is right for me.

If anyone has brand suggestions that would help as well. I just need
a jumping off point.

Thanks in advance.
