Mavic Cosmos clincher rims

I've been considering buying a pair of Mavic Cosmos clinchers for road
racing.
Front wheel is 24 spokes radial, rear wheel 28 spokes three cross.
Given the choice of road that our races are on (potholes, potholes
....) I eventually end up replacing the rim and rebuilding the wheel.
The open pro comes in 28/32/36 and not 24.

Do Mavic produce 24 holes rims ? Would I have difficulty in getting a
24 hole rim for rebuilding the front wheel ?

I think a more serious consideration is that if you're going to go across
potholes, a 24-spoke radial wheel is not a smart choice to begin with.

No and yes..even if ya found a 24h rim, finding spokes would be tough. Why not
somebody building ya standard wheel for those potholes, potholes, type races??

Yes, and when using Open Pro's, black hubs and spokes it's hard to
spot the difference and much easier to maintain.

I have Cosmos 24/28 wheeles, and to be honest that front wheel is great.
Have to true the rear one every 200 miles, but the front is trued like the first day.
Think that I'll build myself stronger rear (something with 36 holes) and keep front Cosmos.
