Mavic Mtn. Bike Brakes?

Since 2001, over 90,000 cyclist's have joined Cycling Forums to discuss topics from general cycling to equipment, training, racing and travel or vacation destinations (especially in europe during the tour de france). Anyone know what brakes were included in the Mavic Mountain Bike Group?
I bet they were made by Dia-Compe and that the same model was available with
the Dia-Compe label, but what model?
Never seen them.

No brakes are shown for the VTT groups in my Mavic books of
1992 to present.
I don't recall ever seeing a Mavic cantilever either. If
there was such a thing.
