I am a crazy american student that is going on his first trek from Athens to Rome in three weeks. I plan on leaving Athens on August 9th and arriving in Corfu on August 16th. The ferry goes from Corfu to Brindisi. From Brindisi i will go up to Rome and arrive there on August 30th.

Does anyone have tips for cycling or camping in Greece or Italy, my route still isnt planned. Also, IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO JOIN ME PLEASE EMAIL!!

Too late crazyami! I just came back from Italy.
You should try and go to Abbruzzi. It will give you excelent tirrein for cycle up the mountains while enjoying seaside scenery. Good Luck!
