If your interested in better bearings because you think they might
save you some energy pedaling, forget it. If you just like the idea of
your pedals lasting longer, maybe, but I wouldn't.

i went with the performance pedals and after one ride they seem ok. i
think the thing that would make me replace them would be if they did
something annoying ... slop, catches, squeaks, etc.

it was kinda funny. i thought i could use some old toe clips i found in
my garage ... but i busted them a block from my house (just the old clip,
not the new strap). i guess i didn't need to keep those in a box for 10
yrs. what a packrat.
