SPD compatible pedals?
On my roadbike i'm using shimano spd pedals which i don't really like because the pedals don't 'hang' the right way to click into them without watching..

As i have a rather good pair of Sidi Action shoes which i really like i don't want to have to buy a pair of (sidi) road shoes to be able to use some other brand of pedals...

Are there any good type of pedals which are compatible with spd cleats/shoes?

SPD compatible pedals?
Try VP-pedals, they have pedals with there own bio-cleat system and also Spd compatible pedals and they happen to be cheap also. Bio cleat is a very good system and it uses the same bolt distance and cleat size like SPD.

2 options VP SPD or Boi cleats on your shoes

Are there any good type of pedals which are compatible with spd cleats/shoes?

SPD cleats are only compatible with SPD pedals (I think).

Shoes however are almost universal. Sidi's website does a great job of illustrating which pedals can be used with which shoes and how to install them (and if any adapters are needed).

Also, be sure you are talking spds and not spd-rs (r is for ROAD)
